The skilled nursing center provides dependable, high-quality health care. And, whether a short or long-term stay is needed, sensitivity to the individual serves as the foundation for all of our programs.

Our EEC certified nurses are here to guide you through intensive recuperative or to help with your long-term care needs. The Towers boasts its own on-site resident health care center, ensuring that the dependable, professional nursing care, accommodations and services you need are right outside your door. Whether a short-term or long-term stay is required, compassionate care to the individual serves as the foundation for all of our programs.

The Commons at Orlando Lutheran Towers offers the benefit and convenience of cutting edge treatment options backed by an experienced team of medical providers, all here to guide residents through recovery. The following care options are offered:

• Rehabilitation care: When the goal is to help you recover completely and/or achieve a satisfactory level of self-care, our rehabilitation team is and excellent in-house, as well as outpatient, programs are here to help you meet your physical, occupational and speech therapy needss
• Skilled care: The Commons offers skilled nursing services 24/7, provided by our professional nursing staff. Skilled nursing includes: internal feedings, diabetic care, intravenous therapy, wound management, oxygen therapy, trauma/wound care, and more.
• Intermediate care: The Commons also accommodates residents that continue to require assistance with their activities of daily living after they have finished their rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing issues have been resolved. (Long Term Care).
• Respite care: At The Commons, we understand the full-time demands of caring for a senior adult in your home. Trust us to provide exceptional, short-term respite care for your beloved family member whenever the need should arise.
• Memory care: Our team of experienced Memory Care specialists customizes and administers a comprehensive, cognitive care treatment program that ensures the safety, dignity and comfort of each resident requiring this special care level.

In October 2009, The Commons opened a nine bed, state-of-the-art, rapid rehab unit. This specialized unit focuses on the rehabilitation of persons who have been injured, are suffering an illness or have undergone surgery. Our registered therapists use advanced equipment in the treatment, training and rehabilitation process, creating evolving treatment plants that evolve and adapt to each resident’s medical status/progress. Rapid rehab supports residents in resuming their former independent lifestyles as quickly and fully as is reasonably possible.
